Well we're starting to get the inshore scene down here dialed in. We took Nick, Jill, and their two kids for a quick two hour inshore jaunt in the Triton this evening and managed to score the youngster's first roosterfish, a scrappy pair of 20 pounders that gave the neophyte anglers something to brag about!
The top-water popper action has been tough with murky water inshore but the bait bite has been consistent. Too many needlefish at times though, frustrating trying to get through them and the sierras to get to the roosters, but hey - the kids still love it!
We're headed offshore tomorrow morning to Isla Ladrones for some marlin action so i'll post up a (hopefully action-packed) report tomorrow night.
Got some great shots of the kids in action this afternoon but haven't downloaded them off of Jill's camera yet...stand by for those tomorrow.
The more time i spend down here, the harder it's going to be to leave!!!
