Riveting stuff!!! Allegedly these tickets are now good for life, but then again that's what they said last time when we were required to get the SCM ticketing 15 yrs ago. Anyway, it's over and i can now think about PANAMA in a few short days.

Cath took her courses too so she's now an officially licensed capt in Canada. To make matters worse, she got 100% on her exam - the only student to have done so according to the instructor who ran our series of classes - and she's wasted no opportunity reminding me that i only got a 95%.

I cannot win, i tell you.
AH Yes, I rememember when Sue got 100% on her pilots license written, to my lowly 98%, luckily for me she crashed my plane only weeks later, that of course put an end to my misery!!

Set and drift? Thats when your boat breaks down and you wait for someone to find you, right? The other night we caused some deviation in Sayulita. Im glad I remember something I learned in those classes. Wish I could remember what a billfish looks like. Revis here I come, wonder if that same blue will bite again as we approach San Benedicto? San Benedicto, patron saint of rum and sushi.

That's great stuff...now you can guide that baby grady up here this summer
Kidding of course...the other part of the new regulations requires that all guide vessels be required to pass the SVIP process which is basically as self-inspection ordeal then they send you a sticker.
It's actually gotten ride of quite a few operators that were not seriously involved....
Like everything else the government puts out...it's barely working and a flawed process but it's a start.

Adam if I didnt just wake up from a crazy night in Panama city I might be homesick. I thought I had found sin city in the caribbean but I think I have found a new home!!!!!!!

I want to hang onto a green 400lb stripey, I got smashed by the big girl we got at the hook last year and can just imagine the damage a 400 stripey will do

JT I have gmdss, oow, 5000t tickets to look forward too when I get back from france! way too much shit for this boy to deal with!
