Firing on all cylinders...

Got in at 3am today from PV and fully planned on sleeping till sunrise on Thursday. That operation was not meant to be as my buddies, Dane and Cock Jiggle, called me a bush and told me to be ready to leave by 3pm.

The plan was to put the flats boat in and go looking for whatever had mullet on their diet plan. The mullet run has been off the hook for the past month so we felt we had a reasonable shot at finding some love.

First stop was a little cove to net some mullet. From there, we decided to run outside to see what was chewing along the beach. No puke this time but shit, it was rough in a little ass flats boat.

After finding a few bait showers at the Bath Tub we dropped anchor and set out some noble pawns. It didn't take long as we watched one boat jump a fish. Soon after, Dane tied into a nice 50 class tarpon.

After CJ got slapped in the head, we crept our way back to the inlet trying our best not to swamp. Again another boat hooks up and Dane follows suit as a lil baby poonany gave us a couple laps around the boat.

We went and tried the snook but with clear water all we could do is watch as some 30lb snook hammered bait under the lights.
