Trying to get my last pictures up. The hoo in this picture was caught around Santa Fe on an afternoon trip. I think we caught one more and a small tuna or two.
It's a must to go see the turtles while in the Galapagos, so here's a few pictures of the prehistoric bovine. I couldn't get Morgan to ride it for nothing? The turtle ranch had some of the coolest lava tunnels I have ever been in. As we were walking in the tunnel all I could think about was what craziness must have gone on in there with the Pirates, kinda spooky.
A few miscellanious fishing pictures, I think around the Gordon Rocks. Not a ton of action but we did catch an amber jack that Moab got more excited over than any other fish we caught the whole time we fished with him. Here in the South East reef donkeys aren't highly sought after. We carried it to the restaraunt and had it roasted for supper. It was actually edible, but I'm glad we had a wahoo to compliment it.
Gotta love the sporty panga ride to the hill when we visited Floreana. Damn I'm glad we just got out of that thing before this wave rolled in. Wish you could see the look on those boys faces after that. I think they may have peed themselves just a little bit. I swear that wave was a lot bigger than it looks in the photo. We stopped in Floreana for lunch. It was quite the experience, with only 100 or so residents we were of great interest to a few of the locals. The lady that runs the restaraunt whipped up some wahoo stew and wahoo steaks for lunch. As we dined the chickens and dogs played chase under the table, the kids loved that. You'll notice the Limo that picked us up after lunch with the Boss man of the Island on board to escort us back to our boat. Super nice guy, who was concerned as to how we enjoyed our visit to his island. Really cool experience. If you want to get away, I have a feeling you could do it here.
Thats all folks!
