Well everyone i wish i had the time right now to sit down and record this madness on paper...god knows this kind of fishing certainly deserves labored recognition and olympian worship...but alas...there be no time...
Thank god for the wonders of digital photography and the instant gratification it brings...becasue when the fishing is off the charts...when all HELL BREAKS LOOSE AND THE DIAMONDS TURN TO DUST...and the captains, crews, and anglers are reaching real deep to keep up with it...a simple photo...thank god...will often do in place of an otherwise long-winded, rum-fueled tale...
So pour a cuba libre or crack a frosty cold one and enjoy the stories hidden behind each one of these beauties...all taken yesterday...when the fishing was so good that bait was indeed unnecessary...and we just plain gave up after a while...opting to swim with the dorado and hitch a ride on a turtle instead...
13 tunas from one porpoise school...hammering mauraders and marlin lures with abandon...including one tuna that JUMPED near the boat for Tor...check out the photo below...3 dorados from a trash line and rainforest tree-top which held over 100 dorado...hence the swimming and turtle riding...and 1 for 3 on black, blue and striped marlin...and if you look close one of the photos show the striped marlin actually free swimming around the boat trying to eat the dorado Tor is fighting...we caught the dorado and then pitched the striper a bait and taught that marlin a thing or two about trying to outrun my Cabo...
Yes my friends...it don't get much better than this...
