Caribbean loving

Between a crazy charter schedule and the irie life of the Caribbean we managed to sneak out on my buddies regulator..... nothing new but this time we took our girls with us. Apparently they have good set of eyes on them, Dolphin, Whales, Birds and bait were constantly yelled at us from the bow as they sunbaked under the Caribbean sun

Around midday we had a nice blue come into the spread and start playing with lures. I threw out the 30lb pitchbait and called for Taylor, I handed the rod off just as the fish bit and she did the rest. the fish went ballistic as only blues can and everyone on board got a great look as we drove hard on the fish so were never far off the fish. Unfortunately I was a little heavy handed on the leader after 40 mins and popped the 400 leader about 10ft down so the girls didn't get to see the fish up close. No worries as they haven't stopped talking about it yet..... with gourmet food and endless beers I think we might have to bring them again!

Mozza, nice work, when we came around it was this time of year, and we had a red hot marlin bite on the inside of the islands south of there, I don't remember exactly which island, but not far below you.

Happy Birthday for next week Branes, I sure wish I was there to celebrate it PV style. All going to plan I may be doing the west coast next year with a nice little private mothership deal so we will have to catch up for several cold ones.

Herk you it sounds like its a great time to be here from all reports, it would be much nicer fishing frantic pace than our little cc tenders...... We lost a better sized fish today after 1 1/2hrs and out tomorrow for more punishment.
