I don't know what it is about this city that makes it OK to riot at the drop of a hat. I truly believed that after the Olympics this city had a different mind-set. It's a sad, embarrassing shame to see what happened last night. I hope the authorities round up every one of those scumbags and lock them up for a long time. Thankfully with the HD video, and thousands of photos that clearly reveal their faces and actions, it shouldn't be hard to get an ID on the morons who partook in the violence and looting. Seriously disgusted by what happened.

On a lighter note, Boston deserved to win the Cup. There's absolutely no denying that. Thomas' performance was worthy of the win alone, and when all is said and done Boston played better than the Canucks, and went home with the Cup to prove it. Congrats to Boston, they deserved the win!!!

As usual, Canucks fans will re-group during the off-season and start hoping like hell that next year might FINALLY be our year.

Sigh...let's just hope we don't have to wait another 17 years to make it to the show again.
