I agree...we just rescheduled our Socorro trip for that first week of November now, so the tuna tourney is out for us.

Man this hurricane is not going to give us very friendly skies for the next week.

As the world turns and Cabo's future remains uncertain. The Viking Bandit of Crow's Nest are currently pillaging The Los Cabos Billfish Tournament. From the BadCo. Website:

Day1

Following the shotgun start of the first fishing day of the Los Cabos Billfish Tournament, the 60 BCE Bandit, fresh from its strong finish at Catalina, raced ahead of the fleet to the the Gordo Bank where they were able to get baited up in just a couple minutes. Just as they began trolling the baits a big black picked one up and they were on. Anthony was on the rod, and had the fish boatside in about 5 minutes. A tough 15 minute battle on the gaff, and they have her aboard. She measures 103 inches short length, 16 inch tail stump, and is expected to weigh in the low 400 pound range.

Day 2

Early morning bite produces...
Must be destiny...Boated at 9:45am. 107 short, little better grade than the 451 yesterday.Rough time again at boatside.

This could get ugly. Here's a link to a NOAA wave/swell height animation that goes out 186 hours.... BIG storm out of the Northwest sliding south and building some huge seas that are going to meet the storm swell from Rick about midway up the Baja. Looks like 20-28' swells into Cabo come Thursday. Not pretty.
