JT,
NASTY STORM......going to reach cat 5 within the next 12 - 24hrs, before slowing weakening before it hits cabo.......still should be a nasty storm when it hits.

Can't lie, think this just might have worked to my advantage....decent chance I will be able to make the Socorro trip now.....hahahaha

i have been in cabo when a cat2 hit, and saw the damage that did. I cant even fathom what a 5 or 4 would do. That nasty right turn and v line for Cabo is freaky..hopefully things change and she spins out west like a good girl.

Better get them surfboards ready bro!

No they didn't. We have special annual permits to fish out there.

Best Catch: The next bite on a jig.
At least its not projected to be 175 when it hits. At that strength I'm afraid it would wipe the slate clean.

edit...I had to reset the map.

Jim the one I went through there hit at 100-110 and it still did considerable damage...they dont build things very well down there But 100 is better than 175..good lord.

In Beaufort, I don't even worry about cat 1 or 2. Just another squall, but once they got to 3, I start to sweat. If a 5 was to come, I would just go pack up everything I could and wish the place goodbye.

re: Bisbees

Kevin Nakamaru was captaining the boat with the black, I guess, with Anthony as the angler. Tell you what, Kevin is on one hell of a hot streak. I was in Kona for a month and he was smoking hot. I'd never seen anything like it. Over and over again we'd hear reports of his next big fish, and everyone would just shake their heads in disbelief.

Not that others weren't doing well- it was a fairly awesome month for most, but he was just on fire.
