Some nice marlin already showing up in Kona this year for sure. While we haven't had much of a chance to do any real marlin fishing this year, we did score a few nice stripers on our last trip to Barra. Headed to Panama this week so i'm sure things will change in a hurry on our marlin score card!!!!

Nice pics JT. I recognize that as Bomboy's One-on-One, a large tube.
This just in from Bomboy himself fishing the 1,000 fathom ledge today. A nice 125lb. Ahi on a blind strike. I talked to Bomboy and he called it on the Psycho, a bevel-cut version of the Baby Bullet. In honor of this fish, we will make the prize a Psycho. Don't worry, Bomboy is not eligible to win his own lure. That means JT is in the lead........with the only dang submission......so far.
He is still fishing...............
That's one hell of a blind strike! Viva Kona! I hope to add to my own submission entries in the next month from Panama amigo.

One of our favorite lures in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico - Bomboy lures are always in our spread.
Capt. Ramon Hiram Montaņo
Dream Weaver Sportfishing
HEY RAMON (JAIME, THOMAS),
WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME! FOLKS, RAMON AND THE REST OF THE DREAM WEAVER CREW ARE AMONG THE TOP BIG GAME FISHERMEN THAT I HAVE EVER MET, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME!!!!! I'VE KNOWN THESE GUYS SINCE THEY WERE YOUNG MEN, LEARNING THE GAME. AND MAN, DID THEY LEARN IT! THEY ARE REPEATED, PROVEN MAJOR MARLIN TOURNAMENT WINNERS AND ARE A SPECIAL TREAT FOR THOSE WHO ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO CHARTER THEM DOWN THERE IN CABO. AS YOU CAN SEE, I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THEM AND I DEARLY HOPE THAT THEY COME TO THIS SITE MORE AND MORE AS TIME GOES ON.
IF YOU EVER GET A CHANCE TO FISH WITH THESE GUYS...DO IT!!
WOW! BIENVENIDOS CAPITAN & MARINARO & JEFE!!!
(Didn't mean to poach the Bomboy post. We at Archer SuperBars think very highly of The Bomber's lures and good, old Zane too! Con permisso, Zane y gracias.)
Fred,
My only complaint is that you beat me to it. The credentials of the Dream Weaver team are impeachable! No amount of adulation would be hyperbole.
Where do I start with the list of their credentials?
Top Money Winner Bisbee Black & Blue Marlin Tournament 2009
Top Money Winner & 1st Place Overall - Bisbee East Cape Offshore Tournament 2010
First Place Dorado - Bisbee East Cape Offshore Tournament 2010 (on a Bomboy Mini-G)
I think their best achievement is the goodwill and appreciation of sportfishing that they bring to all who spend a day on the azure water off Cabo San Lucas with them.
Most crews with their knowledge and experience are simply not available as they work on private yachts exclusively.
Finally, they remain humble and dedicated to sharing our fine sport to all who step aboard. In any well-run organization, credit must be given to senior management. In this case, it is owner Tom Lansing who creates an environment for success.
Fred, you know as well as I that the dirty little secret is a Bomboy Baby Locknut, Mini-G, or Bullet fished behind an Archer Super Bar is D-E-A-D-L-Y.

Here's a few Bomboy fish... ALL on the Baby Locknut (my favorite!) some run behind SuperBars, some not...
Welcome aboard Dreamweaver!
and the winner is............... Tom Lansing from the Dream Weaver team in Cabo.
I sent this fully rigged Psycho in the very hawaiian-esque colors of blue/silver/pink a few months ago.
He immediately validated this choice and lure by sending me back this picture of one of two Blue marlin that hit the psycho on it's first day in the spread.
The Psycho has been the hot lure for Bomboy the last several weeks.
