Yep, your gonna need stitches
Blue Fin Tuna Surf Fishing in San Diego
Apparently, the bluefin tuna have invaded Imperial Beach in San Diego and several lucky anglers have hooked them off the beach in Imperial Beach, San Diego.
A fellow classmate here in San Diego works with the tuna pens between Northern Baja and LA and confirms they had a small mishap with one of their enclosures. Bluefin Tuna up to 80 lbs escaped in transit and became disoriented, ending up in the surf around Imperial Beach and up into adjacent inland waterways in surrounding areas.
A few lucky surf casters were fortunate enough to land them and even luckier bastards found them wallowing in shallow waters in and around tidal flats.
Yes, people found BFTs floundering in waters 1 to 2 ft deep, rescued them and subsequently released them into seaweed and rice filled new homes. Several BFTs were interviewed and most simply replied "Sizzle, sizzle, hiss" from their temporary refuges located at Weber and Grill Street here in lovely San Diego.
True story!!!!!
