Big Big Fish on the Jetty!!

not sure if they was a fish story or the real deal but i heard on the radio today that a 127 lb. bluefin tuna was chasing baitfish around a jetty in cape may today and apparently jumped out of the water and landed right on the rocks next to a guy fishing! hell of a way to catch one! this also mite be in a post and if it is i apologize but i didnt see it if it was

Was 1/4 mile off the beach anchored and chumming up a school of bluefish, WFO flying everywhere when it got REAL quiet and a estimated 900lber launches itself out of the water like a flying couch next to the boat. Could have reached out and touched it as the huge shape blocked the sun and when it crashed into the water it splashed me like shamu. Next time Ill have a poon in hand...next time.

Yes they do come in close used to see lots chasing bluefish onto the beach. One of these days one is going to jump right into the boat, Im glad I dont work that stuff anymore! Hell used to see them while hauling lobster traps off the rocks in 15' of water, even had one suck down a short I had just tossed back, the *******!
