Bermuda Warm Up...

Well we're off to a good start up here once again in British Columbia during our pre-Bermuda trials. I figured some time with the kids and nieces and nephews whacking a few salmon and halibut would be good for the soul and right for the mojo before i vamanos for Bermuda's red hot grander grounds.

The weather is absolutely perfect and the salmon are on the chew as usual. We fished the afternoon high-slack tide and put a shelacking on the silversides. A few more days of this, and maybe some sack shrinking surfing, and my chakras will be aligned for the Bermuda run in no time.

If nothing else i'm making sure the airline industry doesn't go bankrupt!

We're headed out again this afternoon for the tide change again.

Nice weather dude...but COLD!

So i've already got my tickets booked for Bermuda, James has me set up with accoms - we're all set and ready to kick some ass come tuesday. HA!!!

Then the phone rings, and all of a sudden i'm flying back to PV for a couple of last minute bookings on the Maximo. Oh God...HERE WE GO.

Here's my schedule for the next few months:

Monday - float plane from Tofino to Vancouver. Then Alaska Airlines from Vancouver to LA.

Tuesday - Fly from LA to Mexico, get the Maximo ready for a two day overnighter.

Wed - Thurs - Two day overnight trip. Fishing, surfing, diving.

Friday - fly to Houston, then NJ. Overnight in NJ.

Saturday - fly to Bermuda.

Sunday - Wednesday - pillage and plunder Bermuda.

Thursday - fly to Maryland and meet with the boys on the new Weaver. Tower should be installed and we should be nearly in the water.

Friday - fly back to PV for two weeks of back to back charters and tournaments.

Mid-August - fly back to MD splash the new 63 Weaver, shake her down, fish our way down to Ft Lauderdale FL.

Late-August - load the 63 on to Yachtpath for the trip to Manzanillo Mexico

Eary-September - Ujena Tourney & Debauchery in PV. Then immediately fly to Manzanillo to pick up the 63, clear customs and run to PV.

Mid-September - the serious fishing, tournaments, and traveling begins.

Anyone wanna be my travel agent this season?!?!?!?

At some point i have time to see the children. Although they are moving so fast it's hard to keep up!!!
