Sobrino,
We're in the process of making an order up for JT's for WonderJames (we gotta get into all of that tournament money while the dude is still flush!), plus we are throwing in some of the new FatBoy Squids that neither of you has yet for him to whale on some big, old fishies with. Like the JT's, these new puppies have already spread some serious blood on the highway! How long you gonna be there? Want yours sent there, or down to LP? I guess Bogie's in town (he's raising hell to get some bars because he claims that you snaked all of his, so I'm not sure we can trust him to get the FatBoys to you????
).
Lemme know and for cryin' out loud, don't do anything that I wouldn't have done but can't anymore while you are down there abusing James' back yard...that will leave you plenty of room to do the kind of shit that we old pirates used to do and you new ones are following our footsteps in today.
Tio
Yes sir that does leave a lot of room for pasture, or should i say piracy, indeed!
Have Chris ship those to SteveD in Santa Monica for me, i'll be going back through there on my way back to PV from Bermuda and MD in a week and a half. Stoked to try those new humbolts out!

Josh,
The big girls are still here waiting for your arrival! Visiting boat Chasem had a big girl on for over two hours yesterday that got to close to the bank and unfortunately chafed off on the coral.
Wound Up James stuck a #590 in an attempt to win the Triple Crown but fell 4 pounds short in his effort. Still a tremendous acheivment and a great month of July for team Wound Up. The Bree held on by the slimmest of Margins to secure the Triple Crown Championship and this coupled with their win in The Big Game Classic where they won 300 plus grand ended a very successful Bermuda trip. Congrats to Brice, Randy,Carol,Kyle and Chris.
Visiting boat Never Enough stuck a #674 to take big fish honours and hoards of Cash.
Team ReeLax with owner Lester and Tracey Petracca on board had a fantastic finish releasing two Blues in the 550 to 600 range. The two releases moved us up from 11th place to finish 3rd and get on the board.
Mike Marvinney (aka. member Chester) was first up, the fish came up and totally engulfed the Breakfest on the right teaser and it was all Capt Dave Cilk could do to get her to release it, then what seemed like an eternity of scouring the other lures we were just getting ready to make a circle she came charging and I mean charging up on the left long nothing would have escaped this predator. She somehow knocked the small leopard out of the tag line without getting hooked but Mike was there and quickly dropped the leopard back to secure the hook-up. She then put on a tremendous aerial display about 400 yards behind the ReeLax but unfortunately in the process got tail wrapped and sounded, Mike put some heavy pressure on her trying to get her back up quickly to give her a chance to swim away if we were going to release her. After about 50 minutes she popped up and things did not look good we got some good measurements and she still had some life in her. Just as we were getting ready to take her the Never Enough called in with their measurements which put their fish bigger than ours so we attempted to revive her and we did get some kicks out of her and I am praying she made it, but to be honest she did not look in good shape but at least she had a better shot in the ocean then laying in the cockpit.
It was then back to the 80 proof Goslings Black Seal our secret weapon on the ReelLax but I cannot tell you how it is applied as the routine took years to develop, but it does work used cautiously. With 3 hours left in our fishing day and then 3rd place team Never Enough heading back to weigh thier fish, not really sure why they made this decision but thankful they did we decided to make them pay.
It did not take long for Dave to get us on another fish and again it was a teaser bite first the fish came up on the left mud flap and about the time Dave was able to get it away from her she was next to the left long, she spun around on the surface and exploded on the lure. Chris Petracca (aka Grander Man) was in the chair and I witnessed one of the best up close and personal aerial displays from a big fish I have seen. Thank god the ReelLax is a 43knot boat as Dave needed all of it as she attempted to encircle the ReelLax just missing the port outrigger. We then proceeded on getting the bow out of the line and Chris went to work.
Unfortunately Chris's dad Lester(aka Grander Dad/chair man/hydrator/owner) and Tracey (aka Grander Mom/Videoographer) were not here to witness Chris's big girl so it was very heart warming for me to see Tracey on the video and Lester on the chair coaching Chris on. Truly a great family moment.
I guess once youve caught a Grander these 600 pounders are easy as Chris had it to the boat in 14 minutes and Mike once again had his daily workout on the leader. I don't think these Marlin in Bermuda like Mike very much as I never seem to have the problem when I leader the fish, maybe its my elder statesman status and the Marlin take a little pity on me.
Well this ends a tremendous week of Fishing for Team Reelax.
Monday practice day 4 hours of fishing release 450# and Grander for Chris.
Friday release 300# for Chris
Saturday release 600# for Mike and 600# for Chris.
Josh give us a call when you get in.
I forgot to mention the small leopard was lent to us by my cousin and forum member Jason Lewis. Jason thanks for the loan but I am not sure you will be getting her back as last I saw Mike was burying her deep in the ReelLax secret chamber next to the 80 proof Black.
