Here is a short clip I composed with some of the footage I compiled with this past week's trips. Still getting used to this editing software so continue to bear with me. This video gets me super pumped! Hope yall enjoy it!!

yep "PURE WOOD"
nice video...
Nice footage man!
What are you mounting the HERO to?
On our big boat, I usually just use the suction cup base mount to attach it to the underside of the flybridge top. But here in Venice, if I don't jump in the water with the fishies, most of the time (especially if the footage is shaky) I just hand it to a customer and tell them to keep it aimed at the general area of action. Just got a pole mount yesterday so I will start getting some gaff cam footage. Nowhere really good to attach it to the t-top, as sometimes a good fish will take us around the boat; sometimes I have it on the left side, and the tuna will take us around to the right, etc. So I need the camera to be somewhat mobile. Plus, I am a fan of the shots of the fish coming over the rail, so that's where I need a customer to hold the camera out off the bow looking back aft.
Wideangle lens would help Woody under the t-top and cover the whole back of the boat, this video is the bomb!
Ya, that tends to work better for the big boat. All of our action on the center consoles is off the side of the boat though. If you look at some of my other videos on youtube, that is where I keep the gopro mounted (flybridge or tower). But can't quite get the angle of depression without a higher surface to mount the camera on (on the center console). Again though, I like the gaff shots and the fish coming over the rail. I'll get it right one of these days.

Gotta love the look on some of those guys faces fighting the tunas. Looks like they are about to pass a kidney stone. Nothing makes you hurt like a big yellowfin! Awesome video Woody! Love the underwater shots...sick vid. Keep em coming!!!

great time but i'm definitely bringing my own harness when i finally make it down there. That first guy got worked to death when with a properly set up harness it would have been a lot easier.
Them big YFT's hurt but I had a Blue Fin make me cry this summer up there with the Mass Bay boy's. I swear it took me 2 weeks to get over that fish, worse than any hangover I have ever pulled. But hey thats hurting for a good cause, right?
SWEEEEEEEET
Awesome job Woody and Hunter. Great video.
