705 lb TAHITIAN BLUE IS THE 2009 MARLINSTAR TOMAHAWK TOP CATCH

I received word the other day that some Tahitian fishermen were coming down to pick up some more Tomahawk lures and were bringing some pics of this years catches. Top of the list was a 705lb Blue that was caught off of a Marlinstar Tomahawk in Mahi Lumo. Apparently there is a story that comes with the picture below but I am still waiting for the details with more pics/video.As a token of my appreciation for the great pic(s) and future video, I sent a custom pearl-headed Tomahawk down to Melton Tackle for the Tahitian fisherman.

The guy on the left and his girlfriend came in the store last Saturday with the story and the pictures and Mike Packard put together his new custom Tomahawk lures to bring back to Tahiti and keep at it.

Hey Boys...Just got word from our Tahitian friends that they have bettered their previous catch of 705lbs with a 970 lb fish. To make things even more exciting the fish was caught with a Medium Tomahawk...the custom Pearl Head that I made for them as a gift.
