We have a member of our flyfishing club that suffered a similar stroke. While it was nip and tuck for a while and he still spends most of his time in a wheel chair, with a little assistance we get him up in the boat, seated up on the casting platform and with a long rod in his hand he gives the local bass and bluegill population all they want.

We had the priviledge to have Tred speak at our club a couple of years ago. Great presentation.
