I am kinda biased!!
I have to agree on the regulator smoothness, I build a boat designed by the same naval arch. who designed regulators,,, and many who ride in my 23" can't get over how smooth she is, its funny to see them reach for a hand hold when a "bump" approaches only to look over and grin when they see there was no impact!,,
I never get tired of it

easily one of the best trailerable seaworthy boats out there that wont break the bank. Go spend $70 if you really want, but there is no need for a really nice boat that rides great.
i second the seacraft, look for the potter built hulls which i believe are pre 1980, also look at pre 1992 makos.. i would highly suggest a reputable marine surveyor in your area to check out whatever you are interested in... good luck with your decision...
I third the 23 Seacraft. Find one that has been redone with new power, bracket and a level deck by a reputable person. Great ride and one of the best looking boats out there. Seacraft was way ahead in hull design way back. Plus they will hold some value if that's possible with a boat. My son and I have redone a 20 and a 23 and always bring comments from people. I'm hoping to find a 20 SF to redo like the Conch with the broken sheer.
