YF Rigging Pics

Thought I would throw these up. Have been waiting 7 months for a new YF 36 and am about a week out now. Hope to pass a bunch of forum members on the way to the canyons this summer!

Also, I heard they sea-trialed the new 42 yesterday w/ quad Vrod 275. 67MPH!

My god that is a beautiful boat. I love the color too. Just out of curiosity, what made you go with the Suzukis?

I had a very, very bad experience with Brunswick in the past. Although I had heard good things about the vrods, I would be kicking myself if I got burned twice.

Also, the Suzukis are more fuel efficient. Not enough to make a big $ difference probably, but I feel a little better sleeping at night I guess....

whiskey

I fish the northeast canyons our of westport ma. Mainly Hydro and east. We also do some of the bluefin fishing north and east.

Previously I was fishing a big slow downeast at 17-18 knots. This will be an interesting change. Looking forward to a 2-3 hour run instead of 6-8.

If anyone is in the area and wants to go for a ride PM me. Be careful though - it only took one ride to sell me....

I did a trip to Veatch with a buddy on his Triton 35 last summer- let me tell you, after a long day/night out at the canyons, there is nothing like being back at the dock in 2 1/2 hours. Good luck, and should you ever need bodies look me up...
