    Yamaha 350

Been out of the outboard circuit for a while. A friend sent me this link of a Yammy 350 four stroke in action. Probably old news but like I said been out of this loop for a while.
No telling what this beast would cost.
Three of these strapped on the back of something would be pretty sweet.

They are listing for about $26K

    They are 803 lbs

They suck on gas too from looking at the numbers they have out so far.

I agree the cats are cheaper but...they are a finicky animal. Always requiring some kind of special attention. Did I say fur balls too !It might have been the video ...but the 350 had a nice growl to it

On a 32 Regulator per yamaha performance bulletins

    F250
    4000 rpm 29.2 mph 19.4 gph 1.51 mpg
    top spd 49.2 1.17 mpg

    F350
    3500 rpm 30.4 mph 21.7 gph 1.4 mpg
    Top spd 60.5 .87 mpg

I don't get everyone saying they are thirsty 35% more power than a 250 and you lose .11 mpg.I'm sure those big props it swings helps alot going up swell.26K is msrp I would think you will be able to get them for around 21k.That said they are heavy but they are v-8s.

Exactly right on the size. A 5.3L V-8 outboard. I was speaking with a rep from Sea Hunt yesterday about the 26' CC that they equip with twin 150's and asking would they be offering the 350 and he said that it was so big that it would require them to retool the transom's on the boats to able to trim the motor up
