Supposed to be pretty good from what Ive heard. Plus cats are supposed to be much better riding then the mono hulls. Also check out a Glacier Bay

I run a 27 SF and from time to time my fathers 33 te world cat and I can tell you from experience they are unbelievable boats. In a 4-6' head sea I can outrun 50' boats without a problem. They are also very dry. Economy is unreal. On our 27 SF we have twin 200 yami 4 strokes and we cruise at 35 mph and get around 2.0-2.2 mpg. I have had that boat offshore in 7-9' seas and was able to cruise home right into the slop at 22 mph. They are built to fish....period. I used to run a 30' pursuit and there is no comparision. Take a test ride and you'll see for yourself.

I have a 99' 270 SC (walkaround),that I repowered with twin etec 200 ho's.....It is a very good boat...and good in rough seas,....It will run pretty well in the slop. On nice days, I can cruise at 32-34 knts...mileage is pretty good....Im getting about 1.7 mpg.....I have had several other boats, including 35 Viking,29 Proline,27 Searay......I like this boat the best,...the fit and finish are excellent...and I feel very safe in it....especially by myself....Worldcat is a very good company, with lot of good people, who stand behind their product...I say that from experience...... Go to their forum(Google,"worldcat forums"),and check out what other owners are saying....hope that helps...if not, let me know if you need any more info..... jeff |
