Man the CC have come a long way since I had one. I took a pretty good look at them and would say that my top 3 pick would be in this order; Regulator, Hydra sport, Sea Craft. I also took a good look at a boat of a different sort. Did anyone look at the 38' Evans ? What did you think? It beeing a Chesapeek design which in some ways is like a Down Easter. It must be a real stable boat with a lot of room in the cabin and enought room in the cock pit to have a rockin party. Probably if your not a charter guy you would not even consider it. This style boat is getting more and more popular.

That's all my dad talked about when I saw him. He loved the Evans...I believe theres enouigh room on that boat that you could have your kids play miniature golf on it. The guys there said it would go about 27knots which seemed good to me. Big bad and heavy...it really reminds me of a really nice commercial boat.

For a boat that size cruising at 27knts is pretty good. You'd be eating up a lot of fuel much faster than that. The Down Easters cruise at 18 to about 24 knts. The guy asked me to come down to his factory in Maryland to look things over. I think I'll take him up on it. Road trip one of these days.

I really liked the Steiger Crafts. Those things are built like tanks. Like an Eastern on steriods.

take a look at the 32 mirage. I can't say enough about a boat that takes me to the 1000 fathom line at 30 knots and only burns 102 gallons. Twin volvo pentas 200 I/O's
