Im getting ready to check why the windlass doesnt work. The fuse is good. No power at the helm or the bow controls, other then checking the switch next any quick checks before I start chasing wires if not the switch? 2003 boat. Thanks Tony.

Did you test the controls with a multi-meter? After checking the resets I would be suspect of the relay. That is the guy who controls the real power to the windlass.
Most windlasses have a solenoid located somewhere, usually closer to the motor, they do go bad, just a magentic switch like on old cars cheap and easy to relplace.
You need to get some power to the controls if you want anything to work. Remember you can't test for vaoltage across the switch. Test the side with the fuse and a ground if you didn't already.
