is it so damn hard to find someone to sell a boat for you or take a boat on trade for a reasonable amount..

i have had my boat on here for a while and i have attempted to trade with no success and this is upgrading to a boat about 60k more...

then in the past 2 months or so i have been trying to find a dealer/broker to list the dang thing but no one seems to have the motivation to help me out and sell it..

i have decided to keep it on here and see what happens..

at this point i refuse to give 10% to anyone who doesnt want to earn my business, respect, and friendship..

sorry for the rant.. but i had to let out how disappointed i am in this damn boat sale industry lately..

Keep your chin up vinny, its a tough market with sooooo many boats for sale right now. Exhaust all your options and let it go from there, are you advertising in the rags? salty dog etc

did not get to that...

but i am selling this boat for the price of the motors and electronics and upgrades..

i got brand new 315 yanmars which installed are probably like 60k 12k in electronics 8k for the generator with 10hours on it. 5k on a new crewsaver 8 passenger..

that is freaking 93k by itself..

not to mention all new plumbing and such.. but for some reason i can not get a broker to touch it and push it out the door..

Having the same trouble with my Stamas.

I have over 90k into it and am currently asking 65k.

I would have no problem giving somebody 10% if they could sell it.

Hang in there guys, I am also in that boat with you. I have seen plenty of great boat to get into, I just can not get a reasonable # for mine. What stinks the most is that summer is coming to an end and I think that will hurt boat sales even more.

Man it's the same all over! I have freinds who are sitting on multiple boats but to be fair they got great deals on their new ones and now can't sell the old ones. $5.00 gas and diesel ain't helping.

buisness is real tough right now...fact of life...real estate buisness is dead,builder's are dea...it's tough...boat sales for the most part are slower than a turtle...the bad side of this is the cheap skates come outta the wood work and try to beat you down to nothing...
you might as well hold on to it,if you don't have to sell it,why give it away
some of the boats i've seen for sale,it amazes me,i've seen some super high quality,very well rigged boats for absolutley dirt cheap...

brokers...be real careful who you choose,there's quite a few bad ones out there...

i dont have to sell it.. so i will list it at what i got it at and hope someone wants a good boat..

i own it so it aint like i am making payments on it...
