i have been looking for almost a year now with no success.. the price of boats are outrageous and not to mention the bang for your buck...
i need to try to sell my express or trade it in and get something new to use like a big cc i could trailer around..
not big on trailering boats but i think it is about time..
want to spend my time in florida chasing sails and mahi and i want to go to cape may and catch the striper fever!!
hoping one day i will find the right now.. just not right now i dont think..
i should be at annapolis and ac...
I seems to me the narine industry suffers first and longest, not too long ago we had to deal with a luxury tax, a burden buyers had to bare because the by what law makers saw could afford the product so why not tax thoughs would can pay!. now its turned a little in that the price for raw materials to build boats has gone through the roof( petrol related) and still the industry suffers, lay-offs, stale inventory, all these things will weaken a nation!,
Who will do the bailing out here?
maybe the smart money is to get into dry dock market so people can keep the boats they can't afford to use on dirt!
The wife wants a 40 cabo in a bad way. I would love a 40 cabo but am having a hard time understanding what it will do that our 33 coastal won't (just 7 knots slower, that is basically $100k in the bank per knot). Maybe at Annapolis.....
What will the Cabo do that your Wellcraft won't?
Look better in the Marina or have a working generator
I feel bad for you guys with the bigger boats, I have a 20'er and I can't get a phone call on it. We are talking about $16000.00. You guys trying to sell the big ones must really be hurting. I would love to move up, but like everyone else, I have to sell mine first. I have thought about trading it in, but then I am really go to take a bath on it. Besides, who can afford a new boat these days anyway? I will be at the ac and ny shows. Good luck to all you guys.
I have been looking. The gap between lightly used and new is so big right now I can't imagine buying new. You would just have to be completely price-insensitive.
I am going to hit the Boston in-water show next week for laughs. Should be nice and quiet. I did notice quite a few dealers pulled out this year.
