Quest I was looking more for the hydraulic end as opposed to the actual controls.
Fritz, I checked out the marol site and I don't think 1000 psi is enough for my boat.
If you cannot come right these guys will custom build you any thing up to 60,000psi

But there must be a similar company in th USA
I run a hydroslave system right off of my aux drive on my engine. Give a call to marine hydraulic engineering in rockland maine. John will set you up. Be sure to get a solenoid for your autopilot if you have one. With this, there is no need for a pump. Just be sure your j-box on your A/P can work with the solenoid.
Hey Fortunate one, I used the teleflex and ran a line straight from my clutch, the ZF has a pump on them already. The system is awesome. I over did the ram unit though i could have gone smaller. You will be happy with it, just get the largest ram and be sure to use the right fittings on all your steering lines. There are two types out there. I had to change about 18 of them because the original guy who put in the lines used the cheaper fittings. I was told after a year they were known to start leaking. Just a thought.

My 2 cents - do not compromise anywhere on steering, that coupled with a good propulsion package is what gets you HOME!
Kobelt is a Canadian Company with a great reputation in the Yacht/Commercial world. Do not know how their prices stack up, wouldn't care if they have the right Steering Cylinder.
Make sure you size the Autopilot Pump for the right Steering Cylinder Size - it will make a diffrence. Also, Power Assist gives you a faster response time on the 'pilot, saving some fuel in the long rule.
The Cylinder needs to be sized (engineered, calculations, etc.) for your boat. Make the right choice now and it will pay off.
Never had any issues with a properly engineered and installed Teleflex/Morse/Hynautic system, but do your homework upfront.
