    this is an awesome point and one that alot of boaters overlook. it is amazing how some boat companys build the boat around the engines and make it nearly impossible to do maintennce. some boats u have to remove stuff like water heater etc.. just to change annual maint.

    If you really want to learn about what to look for in any kind of boat look here: http://www.yachtsurvey.com/ Read the articles and buy a book. The books are pricey, but worth every penny if you're serious about buying a well-designed, quality boat. He doesn't talk a lot about fishability, but if you study the articles on the site and the book that fits the type of boat you're looking to buy you'll know almost enough to do your own survey. At least you'll go shopping knowing what you're looking at.
