there is also a guy in our swordfish club that is getting the new 300's and has a set of the 225 fours he is selling and have like 490's - 510 hours on them I will ask him today on $ and time .. hardcoremarine though has some..

There is a guy here in Tavernier, FL Skinny's Marine Repair. He just put a 2009 250 FS on the back of a local charter boat. My understanding it had 40 hours on it, and was installed for $8K. He has a 225 in stock also 400 hours for $4K but it is a 2005. The 2009 motors are supposed to be off of government boats with less than one year of use. The owner of the charter boat checked the serial numbers to make sure they were not stolen.

Awesome, thanks a ton for the info guys! I'm thinking of picking up and extra one now before next season as the one i currently have, while running fine, is getting long in the tooth and i figure it's a good time to get a hold of a spare while i have some free time. I'll check out both of those leads - appreciate it!
