I ran a 54' Vicem for almost 3 years, here is my take on the boat. I was the captain and maintained the vessel inside and out as well as ran the vessel for 99% of the close to 2000hrs.

Flat bottom, yes sir and if there are no spray rails on her your wet. The tabs work great when they work (not the builders fault) but you get spray, lift her nose up a bit to cut the water down and you get a harder hit. Nice day, watch out with 1050 manns she ran close to 40knots on the pins and cruised in the mid 30's burned like a ***** but ran. Knock her down n the 20's and the customers were living life in a moving house.

Maintaining the boat was almost easy, almost everything was easily accessable and if you were under 250lbs you cold get to it all from stem to stern.

Fit and finish was better than a ton of boats I've been on. The big Vikings couldn't compair. Was on a 63"vicem and I swore it was bigger than the 7? Viking.

The bridge on the 54 would hold 11 people and you could still navigate. Plenty of seating. did sunset cruises and served dinner for 8 on the bridge.

Structural was ok to good. Cabin bridge and so on had almost no cracking. The rudder ports were an issue and was told it was due to water getting in mixed with the pressure from the speed. This ***** could turn on a dime but I guess it paid its price. The stringer in the one I ran had a crack on a cross section from I would say flex. Alot of wood rubbing throughout the boat.

Company was excellent to work with and very responsive to all issues to th little detail like redoing the fish boxes because the epoxy cracked.

Engines had issues 1050 mann blew up at around 700hrs block cracked in half while running and from what I understand the other did the same thing. Fixed but slow with the blame game between the boat manu. mann and blaming me for beating the boat. I love computerized engines they don't lie. I babied that girl and they saw it.

If your going to tourney fish and need to go all the time I would steer away because you will get your ass handed to you when the shit gets ugly.

If its a family friend fun boat its awesome, wife, girlfriends, kids and buds will be in awe. Great fishing boat, sits like a duck and raises fish.

I did bare boat charters and it was excellent for cruises, great dock appeal that sucked th money right out of their pocket. Low rpm cruises she sipped fuel.

any other questions feel free to ask.
