Anyone have any experience with the Digital 829 antenna?

So how does it mount? ....... doesn't the cable spin when mounting it ?

How "waterproof" do you think the connection at the antenna is ?

Oops, my error, I have the 529VW. But it still works just fine.

Interesting the 829 antenna does not come with the cable it has to be purchased separately.

Thanks Mackey and not a problem. I also have the 529. It’s going on 6-7 years and still going strong .... As for the 829 even someone at the boat show last week had said there was no such model.

They sell the cable in different lengths from 10' to 40' and custom beyond that.

I talked with Digital yesterday about the 829 and got some good info but would like to see it in person. While I like the concept I don’t think it will help me out …The Digital tech folks were very accommodating and helpful by the way.
