She' really taking shape now and looking good... I know John John is going to be happy this summer! ...... Hope to get up that way tomorrow.
Hey fishSkipper, John has not seen her in awhile. I am going to bring him up next week sometime. The last time he went there was in the early framing stages. But I talked to him today, and he is pretty excited. Thanks.
Man I envy you! Went through all the boat builders shops last fall around wanchese and harkers island & I'll have to give it to Bobby, IMO his are the solidest, best built carolina boats I've seen. The quality of his work would be hard for any builder to match. He is right there involved in every step of the process. Old school master carpenter, very hands on, and a great guy to boot. When you get her done, you'll have something not many will ever be lucky enough to experience owning... congratulations & thanks for sharing the build.

All stringers are notched and glued in place.
After stringers are placed they are through-bolted to every bottom frame.
Close-up of hose stringers are notched and placed.
Picture of bow faired out.
Really cool!!
Keith That is one beautiful piece of craftmanship. When I am down next month maybe you can take me and Alvin for a tour.
Hey Russ, No Problem. When you are in town give me a call. Be happy to take you guys there. Maybe Bobby can convince you in your next boat.
