Hi CB&T,
Thanks for that.Did I miss the shaft angles earlier?
Hi CB&T,your build and me joining the forum from Fiji has given me a whole lot of courage to opt for a single engine concept despite negative comments from my friends.i really salute you for your fantastic build of a simple yet a very functional machine which i also intend to do in alloy. Please keep us updated on the new figures as soon as you install new props.
Thanks dr faizal, You will be very happy with a single motor. Very smooth alot less noise and much better fuel efficience. If i put another motor in my boat I would have gotten around three more knots on top speed and cruise but burned twice as much. You will be more than happy with a single engine.
Dear CB&T,Yes,I fully support your idea, and with 11 tons laden weight and 800hp,I should have a good speed.
Do you know about veem props as they are uncommon in NZ due to the local monopoly (companies) there. Are they good?
Whats your shaft angle like?
Why is ply installed on the bottom?
