really enjoying the the pics. the boat looks great. a few pics of the finished lazarette and pump spaces would be great along with cabin shots too.

what are you expecting on cruise and wot?

is it my imagination or is the windscreen much taller on this express than typical? the proportions from the side still look perfect but the bridgedeck pics seem to show the windscreen as very high....it looks like the wheel mockup is 2-3 ft below the top edge....if it is, are you going to build a raised helm platform?

Hey sclancy, The wheel is 18" below the top of the windscreen. Bobby builds his express boats with alittle higher sides and windscreen to eliminate having alot of enclosure material down stairs and to be proportionate to the boat. Bobby Sullivan, Ricky Scarborough and Buddy Davis all have larger sides and windscreens. Plus Im taller. Visibilty is better than normal. I will get some interiors pics when it is done. i am doing Bamboo walls and bulk heads, cherry trim and molding. The counters will be Corian. Cruise speeds are up in the air. I have heard 28knots cruise and 34 knots wot. And 31 knot cruise and 36 wot. we will see. These are all computer generated models, with diff. sized props. I will know in two weeks.

    UPDATE: 42' Bobby Sullivan

    Hey Viewers,

C THERAPY will be leaving the building right after the new year. She will be getting the tower installed, enclosure made and cushions designed. They are hooking up the steering and main engine harness. The last pic shows the bamboo interior going in. Completion of the interior will be done by the end of Jan. I will post pics of the trip to the travel lift and when the tower is installed. Stay tuned.

    'THERAPY' sessions have begun!

Well, She's finally been dropped in the water! (1/12/09). She was taken across the marina to the slip where she will have her tower placed. She has been fueled up today (1/13/09). On the slings, she was weighed in at 20,200lbs. Dry, no fuel. The prop was attached and tightened. When she was placed in the water she was checked for leaks and she checked out fine...she was floating! Now she will have some more things left to be finished. Tower, curtains, cushions, etc. more pics to come as she is being finished!!!
