    Check out the site http://ritchiehowell.com/home.html

And even better the Applied Concepts Site. http://www.acunleashed.com/

Under the Yachts tab, the jig construction video is a MUST SEE!!!!!

    Is it just me?

I know this will probably not be well received, but...

At what point is it too much?

I know it's subjective and all up to individual taste, but between the tumblehome and the flare some of these boats are starting to look downright warped. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with some flare. It serves a purpose and it can look good. I wish my own "Carolina" boat had some more flare to keep the spray down. But if it's going to start looking like an aircraft carrier from the front I think I'd rather get a little wet.

Is there anybody else that thinks it has gotten out of hand?
IE8 says this may be a phishing site....Well, DUH!!!!!!... Stupid jerks can't even spell fishing right.

Avenger, I have to agree with you that it's getting a little out of hand, I like some bow flair on any boat but some are starting to look a little funky. But as you said "different strokes for different folks".

I think for the most part you see less flare being used now than 10 or 15 years ago.
