Triton or a Hydra-Sport? in a center console 28 class

I have been looking in the 28-30 class center console and was wondering if anyone can give me some input on the Triton, I see a few 28's for sale and dont want to waist my time looking if they dont have a nice ride. The ride for me is 80% of what Im looking for. My father is getting older and his body cant take the pounding any more.

The 28 Triton is BY FAR the WORST riding boat I have EVER set foot on. They will make a Grady White's ride seem like a 60' Jarrett Bay. Stay away....far, far away from a Triton! I used to fish with some guys that had one and I've never hurt so bad after every offshore trip...even when it was slick calm.

The Hydra Sports is 1000x better in ride quality. A 25 or 27 Contender, or 26 or 29 Regulator would be the way to go over either of these boats, if that's an option. All of these boats will ride like a dream.

Thats what I wanted to hear. I had never been on one or heard anything about them. With so many boats for sale and the market the way it is, there is no reason not to research everything.....Thanks

that triton WILL kick your azz...i've seen one that the transom actually broke-that's right,it broke-no impact,no nothing,it broke...i wouldn't touch that rig on a bet...

28' hydrasport, not a bad rig, there's one in cape may as a charter boat-the owner i'm sure would give you a real world review of his rig.personally,i like the hydrasports...

    triton

I have a 23 triton and we beat the shit out of it and have had zero problems with the boat. In the rumble in the jungle it was rougher than hell and we ran 30 mph down the beach to shallote inlet. IMO at least the 23 is one of the better riding small boats I have been on
