Triton or a Hydra-Sport? in a center console 28 class

My father has the 26 triton. Fished it this weekend for the first time in 4 foot seas. WORST riding boat ever. Beats you to death in both head and failing sea. Sitting behind the cc I got sprayed every wave. Drop the triton from your list. Look at an Onslowbay or Contender.

Been on the Cape May charter boat a few times in less then desirable conditions

Big Boat feel with the beam and a solid ride. He doesnt push it but cruised nicely with 250 HDPI, since replaced with 250 4 strokes.

he does open boat charters 1/2 days so take a ride

Stay contender or regulator...I have owned a 23 and a 26 regulator and now have a 33T contender....the 26 Regulator is the BEST CC under 30' built today.!!!!

the HS is ok but the resale sucks!!! and the triton is just junk!!
