I recently upgraded from a Northstar 6000i to a Simrad NSE unit. I was told that the waypoints in my Northstar could be transfered. I exported the waypoints to a file named northstar_db.dat, loaded it on a usb memory stick, and imported it on the NSE unit. But the imported file shows up on the my log page but not the waypoint page. Unfortunately, the operations manual doesn't say much about the import function.

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck making such a transfer work. Hate to think about manually inputing 300 waypoints.
