Transducer???

looking for some input on a transducer going in a deep 24 degr. hull. I have the dsm 250 sounder.

Most of the fishing I do is trolling so I really only need to see the upper portion of the water column. I am guessing I will need a tilted beam ?? Im tired of my current Shoot through transducer, it's freakn worthless.

the dsm 250 will limit you to a 600w. the 600w 20 deg. tilted element is a fantastic ducer and will fit your needs. i think there is a company called marine electronics of the outter banks.

just bought the 164 tilted element. 1kw looks to be the best available with out hiting close to the 2g mark
