Topside painting????
Hey guys I got a question. I own a 2001 20' seacraft and I am thinking about painting the topsides (Gunwales, and deck/hatches). The factory white with all the stains through out the years is looking pretty tough. I would like to mabey repaint it with a primer grey type paint to reduce glare and I think it will clean up better than the existing white is now. Just wanted to know what the prep work would entail (if any) and what kind of paint you guys would recomend. Is this worth my while or should I just live with the ugly stains?

refinish job
Dan,
Have done five boats in last two years and although abit more costly AWLGRIP or AWLCRAFT 2000 is the way to go. Prep is everything and follow the directions from the manufacture and you won't be sorry. The finish turns out great. If you want more details PM me. |
