Can't put off any longer dealing with my aluminum outboard bracket, the coating is bubbling.

Jimmy had posted information in the past concerning the effects of saltwater, electrolysis, dissimilar metals and the repair of aluminum brackets.

After re-reading this I sent a p.m. with a few questions. His response was "give me a call". I called yesterday and for the better part of an hour Jimmy dropped what he was doing, further explained the process and answered numerous questions. Then helped convince a total stranger that I could do this myself.
