Dude my lower unit had a bearing go bad in it! It is a single prop 280 volvo penta. I do my own work,I have a source for parts but it's full retail.
I was curious if you might have a friend with a complete lower shoe or a source for some parts that might not rape me for some bearings seals and shims.
I took advantage of not fishing with your and Brian's charter yesterday to take the lower unit apart and inspect it,would have much rather have gone feeshin with you guys.
Spring trophy season opens in Md. this coming weekend and my planer boards are ready to kill a hog or two,gotta work in Md most of the week,tell Rick sorry I could not take off to fish tues or wen, ya'll catchem up.
