Go to a hardware store and buy an ez out bit for the size of the bolt you broke. There is several types (buy a few) One side of the bit is to clean and expand the broken bolt and the other side of the bit is for removal. The EZ out removal side has reverse treads which bites into the broken bolt and allows you to screw it out.
I have had good luck using the bits many times.

Well if you drilled it out already ...the only way to get it out is to use an easy out, spray it down with a good spray penetrant a few times...it might help. One thing to remember...if it is a stainless bolt broken off in cast ...its going to be a *****, the only other alternative is to drill it out with the size bit you would use to tap a hole....1/4-20 thread use a # 8 drill...5/16-18 gets a letter f bit....3/8-16 gets a 5/16" bit and so on...but you have to get that baby pretty dam close to center to use that method. What size bolt and whats it broken off in.....was it a pan head, socket head, hex head? Being a machinist in a production facility i deal with no less than a dozen broken bolts a day.
would you use heat,no fire danger/ pb blaster
heat is a good thing just do it gently or you will end up expanding the bolt as well.
well folks! here is the deal I warmed it with the home owner type propane porch and shot it over a three day period with P B Blaster, this morning I took it to a friend who had a straight fluted easy out, He taped it to seat the extractor and she backed right out saving me tons of better spent fishing CASH!
Thank you all
Gotta love it when that happens!!!!!!
