Need recommendations for a marine surveyor in the St. Petersburg Florida area.

Have you used either one of these guys and are they good and thorough?

I have not used them personally. I do know that they are both members of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors. That is an extremely hard organization to be a member of. I myself am a member also. In order for the survey to be worth something to an insurance company or a bank it has to be done by either a member of Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors or the National Association of Marine Surveyors. As far as them as a person or a surveyor I can not speak.
