I have fished one a couple times and the ride is phenominal. I was very nicely suprised at the way the boat reacted quickly to the captains moves. Sometimes a boat handles with a delay. This one did not. Sipped the fuel and was very quiet.
Fishing wise, the 38 I fished on fished much bigger then its size. Cockpit was very nicely laid out. We had 6 guys on the boat and did not have to step allover each other.
good looking boat, pretty quick. it has good lines, and a nice helm. they can be a bit rough in a short headsea, is somewhat wet, and will try to wallow in a decent following sea. but thats what you get with a not-so-sharp entry and relatively flat bottom.
Dittos on the ride and fishability, but some of these boats (if not all) were built without self-bailing cockpits; the deck drained right into the bilge and relied on pumps to move the water out. One I know of shipped water and required assistance upon pump failures. It should be relatively easy to ass scuppers, for sure, but look for it before you head offshore!
