Another cheap solution - after you get it open, is to rub a candle up and down both sides of the zipper - it will lube up the zipper, but not break down the fabric - an old drysuit trick.

To get yours undone - try soaking it in a salt-away/water mix. Sometimes plane hot water works. wd-40 should be more of a last resort, as it can sometimes break down the surrounding fabric or stitching.

A hoax? Moi?

Thanks for all the advice. I gotta run to the local boat supply ( the ONLY boat supply) store in the nation today and will see if they have anything that will eat it.

Meanwhile I got a JABSCO washdown pump totally apart, trying to glue the magnets back into the electric motor. Man, them pumps are complicated little buggers ain't they.

Welcome to my world.

If you really want a spray that can actually unstick things you can by this straight from the manufacturer online. IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!!

Go to kanolabs on goggle and you are there! It is not a lube/antiseize it is a penetrating anti corrosive.

Do you think it is worth the $ 150 it would cost me to get a can of it here via Fed Ex?

Stay away from net bag thingies with zippers. Use net bags with velcro or non corrosive ties.
