Actually 3.. I am taking a 33' Bertram and adding a set of 350 yamahas on a bracket. This is for a man I have already done a 28 for.. and taking a 28 and converting her over to 250 eteks. My own boat we are doing a teak deck. will start some pics soon.. damn glad I have found a nice warehouse instead of the outside in the hot sun thing!

Sounds like some good projects. I will be looking forward to it. My next boat might be something like you are talking about. With the outboards, I would be able to back troll it, but it would still have a good enough size to take me offshore with confidence here in NC.

all it takes sometimes is a glass of wine.. but she works well as my model and I get to build seats, storage and creature comforts of a boat with her.. and she speaks her mind.. <<~~ (sometimes again is like the cackling of the sea gulls..!").. started making the new mold for the floor.. and I cannot wait to cut off that step up where the old engines had the floor pushed up! I am saving 'some' of the step up on the sides and tappering them out to the back door. the boat will have 243 gallons of fuel / 59 water / 19 gallon holding tank / in hull fish boxes and storage / transome 60 gallon well.. she wants a chair.... so the boats fuel and tanks will come in about 1,900 lbs (tanks filters and lines included) , water at about 472 lbs. this new deck design with people I think is the key to fishing more comfortable (and plus we take two mexican hammoks with us overnighting and now your backside will not touch the step up !) .. get some pics rolling real soon.. we sat right next to a newer model with gas engines last week I still like the 1973's..! we have put close to 1100 hrs on our rig now. changes I'd make hind sight are a wider day bunk / bench (where the caffateria seating used to be..).. and doing the floor this new way.. ! the 28 is a large but small creature. the 33 is going to be fun and I intend on a set of 350 yamas with at least 350 fuel.. gonna go a teak deck .. we need a boat that can run the gulf stream all the time.. with range and some comfort.. this gives me both.

No its not, in the eighties Bertram made a shortened version of the 35. Here is another. You can tell by the shortened cockpit and shorter nose.



Here's the 35...... I've always wanted a 35 with diesels.

the 33 crusier version is a beautiful boat that actually has a better interior layout than the 35. i can imagine adding a 3 foot cockpit extension will make this an even better fishing boat and she will probly handle quite well with the extra length
