Spot/Flood Searchlight
After I get the autopilot installed on my 24' CC, I want to add a spot/flood/searchlight on the t-top. It's the Jabsco 6" Spot/Flood Searchlight - Spot/Floodlight,200-50K/CP,Remote Control.
Question: Will the light survive the vibration on the t-top on such a small boat? It will be mounted on top of the aluminum frame the the electronics box is attached to.

It should work fine as long as you bolt it down to a tab welded in to the t-top frame ( as the tabs for the antenna mounts) .
I had one on the t-top of a 25 with a remote, & it worked like a champ.

I think Admin is going to let me have this space
please think it over...
it seems all the mounted spotlights that you can buy for a smaller boat just get tore up and the investment is not worth the end result. Go to Bass pro or any online market place and get two of the rechargables for 1/10th of the cost and hassel. I have replaced and taken down so many nice units because they don't handle the test of smaller vessels. anyway thats my 2 cents...

My buddy has an ACR remote controlled light on his CC. Works great!

The ACR spotlights are pricey but damn near bulletproof on big boats.
