Bubbie gave me the grand tour, pretty boat.

You have got alot of work ahead of you, or rather Bubbie does.

Really pretty boat, cant wait to see her finished and in the water.
Thanks for the compliments. I know its a lot of work, but considering her history we felt it worth the effort. Seeing her brought back will be a credit to Bubby. I hope to get a couple of good hands to go down there with me a few times to help reduce the work load on Bubby.

I can't post too many pics due to a project we are working on, but here are a couple. The bottom looks pretty good with all the caulking and oakum removed. The side shot shows one of the planks removed not because of rot but because the fasteners were corroded and its was extremely loose. The entire boat is going to be refastened.

The project is progressing as though somebody up is in control, right down to the selection of the boat builder handling her. Its like its all just meant to be. She will be back in the Canyon Club this summer. Tell the ole man I said hello and you guys are invited to her welcome home party.

I remember your grandmother Dot never liked that the little green guy on the hats and shirts had his fists up, she used to draw fishing rods in his hands, on the hats i wore.

I was waiting until he is ready to glass before I asked to go down. He is working on the frames for the engine bedding and refastening hull right now. I give you a shout tomorrow. Thanks for the offer. Maybe Pedro will go with us.
