Holy cow is this seriously what someone considers a repair??????

Good luck with the project man! That looks like a mess of work, but you really seem to have a serious attachment to the boat and that's what it will take to bring her back!

Bubby has been busy a stripper

OK, so it was really a sand blaster stripping the paint.
So this is what a 50 year old mahagony plank boat looks like under all that paint.

Fritz,
I was curious to see what the wood looked liked under all the paint when we looked at it at Jarret Bay. Have you seen it ? any soft spots other than the obvious ones on the bottom.

looks like your well on your way !!!

Good luck,
Troy

and I have not seen her. I will let Bubby answer more thoroughly, if he checks in, but from what I understand the bottom is alot better than what it looked like with the paint and the only rot on the sides it at the port side shear board. Other than that, I think he was impressed with the overall condition. Thanks for asking. BTW- Nice job on the Frenzy.
