this thread had a sour note from the 3 post. since fritz decided to go bye bye , how about we let this thread die in peace. you guys that wanna have a pecker contest start a new thread so we at least know what we're getting into. Hell I like to have some fun and brake balls as well.dave
believe it or not joe,i've seen worse than that...i've also read worse than that...on a different site,a guy was going to fill the hole in the hull from a transducer he removed, with a carrage bolt,a large washer and 3m 5200
same site, guys advise other's to repair their leaking aluminum fuel tanks by filling the holes with marine tex,and wrapping the tanks in fiberglass matting-pretty scary huh ??
Did this boat ever make it back to Cape May? I would like to risk getting past Wrigley just to see it. By the time wrigley gets the poop out of his pants, Ill be gone anyway. I would like to see it. Any one in Canyon Club ever see this boat?
with his "correct refit" havent seen any pics of his completed hull. Since he is the only guy who really knows how to refit a woodie,he should post his finished pics. Maybe the fact that his woodwork was all being done outside backyard style, exposed to all the elements ect impeded his progress.Maybe 3m ran low on 5200. Or maybe he is just one of the many who talk more than they actually complete.
One more thing, what self respecting fisherman would have that giligan looking boat he was working on?Maybe he realized this and put the caulk gun down. This is after all Sportshishing.com no?
